Happy Anniversary to Left

Well, it has been a year since Left hit published and wow. As I reflect, I had no clue what I was signing up for. It took years to write the book. From a skeleton timeline to an outline to the first draft to manuscript. Thank you to all my writing coaches, editors and inspiration along the way. Support and encouragement came from some of the most unexpected places. I am so blessed. I learned so much about myself- Again. And I learned I am really not that different from who I was as a kid. The things I liked back then and brough me joy have reappeared in my life. Like Art. I have now incorporated creating art as part of my self care routine and I don’t worry about what it will look like. That is JOY.
